Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 20, 2026
New Permit Alerts ("we," "us," "our") provides permit intelligence reports to construction-trade contractors. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Name, email, trade — when you sign up for the waitlist or subscribe
- IP address + basic analytics — standard web logs (Cloudflare + server logs)
- Payment info — processed by Stripe (we never see your card number)
What we do with it
- Send you the permit intelligence reports you signed up for
- Respond to your support questions
- Improve the product (aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns)
- Send occasional product updates (you can opt out anytime — every email has an unsubscribe link)
What we do NOT do
- We do NOT sell your data to third parties
- We do NOT share your signup info with permit data vendors, contractors, or anyone else
- We do NOT track you across the web
Third-party services
Data retention
We keep your account info as long as you're a subscriber. After cancellation, we keep records for 7 years (tax/legal compliance), then delete. You can request immediate deletion of marketing contact info anytime by emailing support.
Permit data sources
The permit data we deliver comes from public government records (county/city building departments). This is public information. Nothing in the permit records themselves is subject to this privacy policy — your subscriber data is.
Your rights
You can:
- Request a copy of what we have about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate info
- Request deletion
- Opt out of marketing emails (every email has an unsubscribe link)
Email [email protected] for any of the above.
