Common questions

Where does the data come from?
County building departments publish permit filings as public records. We collect them daily, clean them up, work out which ones are new residential pool projects, and match them to your area. We are not the only way to get to this information, and we do not claim to be. What you are paying for is that it arrives already filtered, already matched to your territory, and without you checking a dozen county websites every morning.

Do I get homeowner phone numbers or emails?
No. The records carry the property address, the filing date, and in many counties the contractor of record. They do not carry homeowner contact details, and we do not add any.

How fresh is it?
Most counties reach us within a day of publishing. A few run slower, and we will say which if you ask about a specific county.

Can I change counties later?
Yes, on the monthly plan. Reply to any report and ask.
